- Volkswagen GTI

- Nissan 370Z
Spanning six generations of cheap sports cars since first coming out in 2009, 2020’s modern Nissan 370Z has housed a powerful V6 engine that’s been producing 332 horsepower since the first V6 model became available in 2017.
Existing in the three Performance, Roadster and Coupe styles with four potential trims for you to choose from, the base Nissan 370Z offers HID headlights, a keyless ignition, LED daytime running lights, automatic climate control and even Bluetooth connectivity.
Since it first came out, it has now become one of the most popular cheap used sports cars and cheap sports cars around.
- Subaru BRZ
The second Subaru on our list and easily one of the best cheap sports cars and most sought-after cheap used sports cars of the year, the modern Subaru BRZ model is truly built for speed, with amazingly smooth handling in accompaniment. Not only this but with Subaru’s Starlink® infotainment system on a 6.2-inch touchscreen as well as Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone integration, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and the feature of limited-slip rear differential, you’ll be the envy of your fellow motorists!
All current Subaru BRZ models have a 2.0L four-cylinder boxer engine that is capable of delivering 205 horsepower. All variations of the Subaru BRZ make popular new cheap sports cars and cheap used sports cars.
- BMW Z4
Having come freshly back into production in 2019, the various options of the modern second-generation BMW Z4 are already both everybody’s favourite cheap used sports cars and everyone’s most well-liked cheap sports cars.
This second generation of the BMW Z4 has replaced the former retractable hard-top with a modern soft-top, instead. The BMW Z4’s second generation also has a 255 horsepower four-cylinder 2.0L engine, coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
On top of this, you will see luxuries like a heated sport steering wheel for those winter mornings, automatic temperature control for stress-free, comfortable driving, and driver and passenger memory seat settings. And of course, the BMW Z4 features a 10.2-inch touchscreen with BMW’s own one of a kind iDrive® infotainment system.
- Mitsubishi 3000GT
And now the old Mitsubishi 3000GT, also known as the GTO and Dodge Stealth in some countries. This was a four-wheel drive car that came with a 3.0L twin-turbo engine, and usually also with a five-speed manual transmission, though later versions had six speeds. It could yield 276 horsepower, or, after 1994, 296 horsepower.
The Mitsubishi 3000GT was also one of the first cars to feature such cutting edge features and specs as electronic suspension, active aero, active steering and a multi turbo engine!
Originally quite a sophisticated, complicated model of car, later versions became far less complex, and so, became cheaper. So today, the Mitsubishi 3000GT is still a great option among cheap used sports cars.
